The S&B cold air intake for the Mercedes Sprinter 2.0L Diesel was engineered to minimize air restriction and flow better than stock. Better performance up grades and better MPG on trips, the S&B is a good choice if you are looking to get more out of your van.
Less restriction = denser air at the turbocharger. The turbo doesn't have to work as hard to build boost and produces less heat when doing so. See the article here that discusses the performance aspect further.
This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat.
The intake has a port built in and ready for the AS-1018 S&B Snorkel (Coming Soon).
